A customer called Atlas and stated that they had hired an individual to build them a deck and two Arbors. Not only was the project taking to long, it was a mess. As you can see the lumber they used is warped, the 4 x 6 post are not even for the Arbors, the deck around the Hot Tub is not flush with the Hot Tub and they used 2 x 4's for bracing which would not have been strong enough to support this large of a deck. Below are pictures of the Deck and Arbors before and after the customer hired Atlas to correct the problems and finish the project.

DECKS

Our decks are built with strength and durability in mind. All lumber is treated. We use 4”x 4” posts 8’ on center and set in concrete, 2”x 6” floor joists, 16” on center, and 2”x 6” deck framing and flooring resulting in a very strong and stable deck. All decks come with one set of 3’ steps. Not only can we build a deck off your house, we can also custom build a deck around your pool or trees. Most decks are built on location, but at your request Atlas can build your deck on skids and deliver, depending on deck size and conditions at your location.

DECK COVERS

Atlas also builds deck or patio covers. They also are built with strength and durability in mind. We use treated 2”x 6” framing with 29 gauge colored steel roofing. We will also provide a shingle roof if desired, which includes decking, felt, and 20 year asphalt shingles.
